Open learning materials for every classroom
CCOER explains how to use, share and build policies for Open Educational Resources (OER) under Creative Commons (CC) licenses — so good learning materials can be legally reused, adapted and shared.
What do you want to do?
- Use someone else's materials → Attribution & reuse
- Share my own materials → Choose a license, then Publish OER
- Understand what OER is → Understanding OER
- Find source documents and further reading → References
Suggested reading path
- Understanding OER — the UNESCO definition and the 5Rs.
- Creative Commons licenses — six licenses, CC0, how to choose.
- Attribution (TASL) — crediting correctly in slides, LMS and print.
- Publishing OER — workflow, checklist, AI-assisted materials.
About the project
ccoer.org works alongside hoclieu.org, a K-12 Vietnamese learning materials library. ccoer.org also runs an anonymous xAPI learning record store that measures how open materials are used, to help improve them.
